Old English Sheepdogs

I have had Old English Sheepdogs since 1982, when I got my first bitch, Koka, from a pet shop. In 1986 I had my first litter from which I kept a male, Teddy. The 1987 World Winner Show in Tel Aviv was a turning point in my breeding, when I met Connie Loest of Elbe Urstromtal Old English Sheepdogs.

This meeting led to the importation in 1989 of Turquoise aus dem Elbe Urstromtal (Ticko), who made history by becoming the first OES to attain an Israeli championship title and later went on to becoming International champion as well. Ticko died in 2000.

My first Elbe Urstromtal bitch, Y-Not (Tootie), was also the first champion bitch in the breed in Israel and had three litters, giving birth to Israel's first locally born champion. Tootie lived to the ripe old age of 13 and left us in December of 2004.

In 1996, Israeli, Cyprus and International Champion Kall Me Wiseguy aus dem Elbe Urstromtal (Mocca) appeared on the scene. This gorgeous bitch went BOB countless times, was 7 times BIS at Herding Club shows and also placed in the group in a CACIB show. Mocca died at the age of 12 and a half on the 18th of July 2007.

In 2000, the latest of my OES: Junior European Winner 2001, Israeli, Cyprus and International Champion Zaratustra aus dem Elbe Urstromtal arrived as a beautiful puppy. Snoopy has chalked up 8 club BIS wins, one group win, and two placings at CACIB shows and Ex3 at the World Winner show in Portugal 2001, and is now proudly representing the breed in veteran class. He has had widespread impact on the breed in Israel, passing down to his offspring both is wonderful temperament and beautiful conformation. He is the proud sire of 3 champions.
